Today there are a wide range of dance classes available for people of all ages. Whether you want to learn modern dance, tap, ballet or belly dancing, there’ll be a class out there full of likeminded people who want to learn too. There are several steps that you will need to consider when choosing which kind of class suits your individual needs. Firstly, think practically about which kind of dance you wish to learn, the desire to dance is usually a strong passion, and you may be absolutely devoted to one kind of dance then you should probably follow your instincts – dancers need to love their art. If you want to dance as a more fun form of exercise, and to meet new people, think about your tastes in music and the level of activity that will be right for you…..But for those of us who might have dancing as a career in mind…..

We will gather alot of information and guidance on Ballet Shoes.The advice will be collected from retired dancer from the Ballet School of London (my brother-in law ) Colin Dye,proffessional dancers and some closely associated dancing instructors.
This info should be out to you within the week ! It’ll be pretty detailed and up-to-date so keep checking us out. It’ll be worth it.

Did you know that La Bayadere ( The Temple Dancer),an Indian Classic, was staged for the first time in 1877 ? The same year as the premiere of Swan Lake (in a version which has not survived ). I have some pictures of the ballerina’s that danced from that era. Give me about a week to get them posted on the site. Don’t miss it !
